Our mission at VitalChurch is to help churches thrive by cultivating clarity, purpose, and hope. This is pursued with gospel values embedded, gifted leaders empowered, effective governance established, compelling missions embraced, and discipleship pathways engaged.
Theologically Sound
Our ministry flows from a theological understanding of church revitalization and intervention. We work to bring each church back to a place of intimacy with Christ, while at the same time addressing the systemic issues that keep a congregation from flourishing. Read our Essentials of Faith.

We are pastors at heart, deeply invested in the spiritual well-being of congregations. We genuinely care for and resonate with each church community, rather than simply coming in as external consultants. VitalChurch is not for every congregation that finds itself in a difficult time. A church must be willing to surrender to God’s purposes and make some tough decisions. Our team is made up of experts in the fields of church diagnostics, Intentional Interim Pastoring, and leadership coaching. We have produced many resources and training materials that are used by numerous churches and denominations, and our staff members have been featured speakers at a variety of these ministries’ training conferences. Formerly known as reTURN, the name of our organization was changed to VitalChurch Ministry in 2016. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
